ABOUT ME
leadership.
education.
impact.
Valerie Lucas is a yoga educator and mentor known for helping teachers move beyond choreography and into clarity. With a background spanning teacher training, leadership development, and global facilitation, her work focuses on the often-missing link in yoga education: understanding what’s actually happening beneath the surface of practice.
By bridging neuroscience with yoga teaching, Valerie supports educators in refining how they cue, sequence, and hold space. So their classes don’t just look good, but land. Her approach helps teachers better understand learning, regulation, and adaptation, allowing them to support students with greater confidence, discernment, and care.
In addition to mentoring teachers, Valerie designs and leads immersive experiences including retreats, trainings, corporate wellness programs, and speaking engagements. Across all of her work, the focus is consistent: supporting thoughtful, informed practice that leads to lasting impact.
