Valerie Lucas builds and scales training systems that support clarity, consistency, and performance as organizations grow.
She led the development and national expansion of YogaSix’s teacher training programs across more than 200 studio locations, with a focus on curriculum, facilitator development, and the structures required to maintain consistency as new studios opened. Her work centered on ensuring that what was taught could be delivered clearly and consistently across locations, instructors, and teams.
Her work now focuses on how training is structured and delivered at scale. This includes pacing, instructional load, facilitator development, and the broader conditions that shape how teaching lands across locations. The result is more consistent delivery, clearer communication, and training systems that hold up as organizations grow.
Neuroscience-Informed Yoga Teaching™

Neuroscience-Informed Yoga Teaching: How the Nervous System Shapes Learning, Safety, and Growth examines a core premise: the nervous system is the learning environment.
Written for yoga teacher trainers and teachers, the book explores how state shapes attention, how instructional load affects processing, and how relational safety influences integration in both trainings and classes.
It brings nervous system principles into the structure of teaching itself, examining pacing, cue density, transitions, and presence as factors that directly impact readiness and learning.
The book debuted at #1 in New Yoga Releases on Amazon.
The Sustainable Performance Model™
The Sustainable Performance Model™ is a structured approach for organizations and leadership teams to improve how work, communication, and decision-making hold up under pressure.
Applied in business and operational environments, it focuses on the conditions that shape how work gets done across teams, including how information is delivered, how attention is managed, and how consistency is maintained as demands increase.
Rather than adding new skills, it addresses how existing capabilities function within complex, high-demand systems, strengthening clarity, alignment, and execution in day-to-day operations.
